“Even to your old age and grey hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain and I will rescue you” (Isaiah 46:3-4).

We thank you for praying that:
“Day by day and with each passing moment”
God will give us a servant’s heart toward the people of Uganda.

“Strength I find to meet my trials here”
God will give us strength and endurance to complete each day’s task.

“Trusting in my Father’s wise bestowment”
We will completely trust and accept God’s direction each day.

“I’ve no cause for worry or for fear”
God would keep us from being worried or fearful about anything.

“He whose heart is kind beyond all measure”
We will reflect God’s kindness and love to the children

“Gives unto each day what He deems best”
Daily we will choose to obey God and acknowledge that He knows best.

“Lovingly it’s part of pain and pleasure”
We will strive for a strong, loving relationship in our marriage and with our Rafiki team.

“Mingling toil with peace and rest”
We will seek God’s balance in our spiritual and work lives.

Extra Privileges
June 2010 (PDF:257k)

In this issue, we will tell you about all the extra privileges we experience in our Village.

Last week, a few Class Six boys asked Dave if he could help them understand their math problems. Since Dave used to teach math at the Junior Secondary School, he knew how to teach the “new math,” which he says seems just the old math but with new names. He found it pure JOY to help these boys think and comprehend their math.
