The Latest News From Karen

A Pleasant Place
November 2007 (PDF:164k)
As I sit here, I’m listening to the children at play, the birds singing, and music from Kotoku (a village close by). The wind is pleasantly blowing, and the season seems to be changing as we get less rain and more heat. It was a delightfully cool winter, and we are now entering the hot season with some trepidation, especially since I do not know how well I'll handle the heat. I expect I'll do fine . . . especially with air conditioning!
