God is Above All
January 2008 (PDF:188k)
Greetings from rural Nebraska! This Christmas season has been a true winter wonderland compared to those I spent in Africa near the equator. I am adding layers of clothing and looking for the nearest heater compared to wiping off sweat and looking for the nearest shade. Through it all, I strive to follow the words found in Philippians 4:11 “I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”

“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you,
I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being
confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion
until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:3-6).
